Hi! I’m Cyndy, the creative force behind Owl Nest Designs. I'm mother to my 3 great kids and wife to my strong loving husband of 15 years. Concerned about the costs of diapering and wanting to avoid the chemicals of disposables, we began cloth diapering our children when our son was born in 2002. We used those same diapers on our 2nd child, a daughter born in 2004. In 2008, I discovered I was pregnant with our third child. I again wanted to cloth diaper but was interested in something more than prefolds and Velcro-closing covers. I began looking into the options available. I saw lots of all-in-ones. I knew from my previous experience that those took too long to dry. I wanted something else. I saw pocket diapers. At the time, I wasn’t sure about that. Being of a crafty nature, I began to look into diaper patterns and everything blossomed from there. I began to make my own diapers and I found that not only were the diapers functional but I had found a creative outlet that I loved. I enjoy creating diapers that not only work well and are comfortable for baby, but are also oh-so-cute. I’ve tested and found patterns that work well on babies of all shapes and sizes. I’ve researched and used various materials and found those that will be durable and soft on baby’s bottom. And now, I’m using all that accumulated knowledge to provide the best for your little one.
