Somehow writing an about me is always a challenge for me. I want to share a bit of myself while not sounding like it is all about me, but I suppose in this instance it is supposed to be. My name is Angel and my husband Joe and I have been running a household together for a little over 8 years. We are now the proud parents to six children ranging in age from 5 months to 11 years. With 8 people living under one roof you can bet that life is rarely calm. In fact, most of the time it is pretty hectic but I would never want it any other way. I find so much peace in the fact that each of my children is distinct and unique from the next, no two of our personalities are exactly alike, and that we get to grow and nurture one another through our differences. Really, I could not have asked for better people to share my life with. I am truly blessed.

Of course, before our lives were filled with children we had dreams of them coming. I began sewing shortly before my first was born because I wanted to be able to create things my children could cherish forever. I wanted them to have items that they knew were handcrafted just for them with love. The first few years after I started sewing, I made items such as blankets, pillows, and curtains for their rooms. Then, after I had been purchasing cloth diapers for some time, I thought I could try my hand at making some. My interest in sewing my own diapers eventually led me to sites that got me interested in making clothing for my children as well. I began purchasing fabric, patterns, notions, etc to fuel my then growing hobby.

As time passed, I realized there was only so much that I could sew for my own children, and without a larger outlet my house would soon be overrun with beautiful fabrics. So, I entered the WAHM world and I have enjoyed nearly every minute of it. I strive to use materials that are high quality that I myself would want to purchase. While running a home is a rewarding task, there is just that extra bit of satisfaction I get knowing that something I made is going to a home where it will be used and loved.

I thank you for giving me the opportunity to bring a bit of my home to yours and I hope you will stop back again soon!
