Baby Black Sheep is owned and operated by two mamas who share a love of woolies. From dying the yarn to knitting up something gorgeous for baby, it is this source of pleasure & a shared business integrity that unites us and makes our strong friendship even more fulfilling – what is better than chatting about knitting with your girlfriend and calling it ‘shop talk’?

Jessica is the earthy mama to Baz and expecting a second son this spring. You will often see the colors of her home near the Oregon coast in her hand painted yarns. She also enjoys sewing, cooking and being outdoors in nature. She loves the creative outlet that knitting allows and the relaxing down time it provides.

Tara is the proud mama of one little boy, Rylan. She lives in Canada where the long, snowy winters give her plenty of time to knit all curled up in front of the fireplace and a true business reason to watch movies and her favorite shows on TV. Dying yarn gives bursts of color to her life and she seeks inspiration in the colors of the prairies and the Rocky Mountain range on the horizon.
