Gillyweeds Store Policies:

I stand by my work. Whether it’s an in stock item or a custom item, I do my very best to satisfy my customers. If for some reason, you are not satisfied, your first step should be to notify me and we will work towards a resolution.

Crocheted items: Any in stock garment may be returned in unused, unwashed condition. If the garment has been used or washed, I will not be able to relist the item, and will not take it back. For any item that is returned, I will charge a $5.00 restocking fee.

If you have ordered a custom item and it has been made to your specific measurements, it may not be returned. “Pooling” is not considered a defect in workmanship, and will not be considered a valid reason for returning an item.

All items should be hand washed and dried flat, unless otherwise indicated. To prevent bleeding of dyed yarn colors, unscented wool wash is recommended.

Dyed yarns: I dye my yarns with either Jacquard Acid dyes, or with Kool-Aid. Both are acid based dyes. I will use vinegar in the dying process, as well. All yarns are heat set, and washed prior to reskeining. Hand dyed yarns will only be accepted for return if they are in their original packaging. A $5.00 restocking fee will be charged on all returned yarns. Custom dyed colorways are not eligible for return.

Paper items: Paper items may only be returned in unopened condition. A $5.00 restocking fee applies.

Shipping All items will ship in recycled materials to save on money and shipping costs. I only ship a couple days a week. Any in stock item will ship within 3 business days of purchase to give me time to get to the Post Office. I will be happy to ship to Canada, but those shipping costs will be determined after purchase, based on the mailing address, and will be charged before I ship the item out. Custom orders may take up to three weeks, and will be shipped upon completion. Once an item has been taken by the Post Office, I no longer hold any responsibility. Insurance is recommended, and I will use delivery confirmation on all orders. All policies are subject to change, please check back between purchases to be sure you are up to date!
