When this group of amazing and talented women got together to form Soleil, I traded in my drop spindle for a wheel and decided to open Calliope Handspun. Calliope is the name of my second daughter, the first I was courageous enough to cloth diaper. With that came the diaper addiction, then the wool addiction, then the yarn hoarding and obsessive knitting, and now the spinning. I love the look and feel of handspun yarn.
