WELCOME

All items are handmade at and shipped from my smoke-free pet-friendly rural home in Eastern Ontario, Canada. I endeavor to made items that are both adorable and very functional... many of which offer really unique special features! Please contact me at any time and with any questions you might have!

PAYMENT

As a convenience to my customers, all listings on HyenaCart are in US dollars and there are no taxes charged on any items! I also have an etsy shop which has prices listing in Canadian dollars and can be found here: www.littletadpoledesigns.etsy.com

I will usually have your items made and shipped within two business days... and will contact you if it is going to take me any longer than that to get it together. My Made to Order crocheted toys may take up to one week before shipping.

If I don't receive payment after an order is placed, I will try to contact you through HyenaCart or though any other email that might have been provided. Payment must be received in full before your order will be mailed to you. If no payment is made within 7 days, I will have to cancel the order and relist the item.

SHIPPING

I ship all items via Canada Post. Small items are shipped by the most economical method. Larger items including blankies and dolls/toys ship with insurance. If there is a tracking number, I will provide that to you. If you want to make sure your order has tracking or additional insurance that it otherwise would not have, please contact me before ordering as I will have to send an invoice to you to cover the additional costs. Items will be shipped within 3 days of payment having been received.

Shipping can take as many as 10 business days to Canadian destinations, and to the States may take up to six weeks. Canada Post delivery standard for small packets to the US averages 6-12 business days, but it not guaranteed as they have no control over the time items spend in customs. If customs fees are applied, they are the responsibility of the buyer.

I do my best to ensure your package arrives undamaged. In efforts to promote reusing/recycling of non-biodegradable materials, I will re-use padding in my parcels rather than purchase new. This may mean your parcel will arrive padded with clean plastic bags from the grocery or other local stores. Please do your part and either recycle these where the facilities are available, or reuse them yourself. If you want your parcel padded only with new shipping specific materials, please contact me prior to ordering so I can see if I have any and/or add that to the cost of your order.

Shipping prices for multiple items will apply according to the largest item first. This means that if you purchase a Cuddle Blankie in addition to smaller items, the cost of shipping the Blankie is applied and then the other items on top of that. If there is a conflict with the automatic shipping calculator and this policy, I will contact you prior to filling or order.

If there is an overpayment in shipping of over $1, I will issue a refund for the amount.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

I do accept returns of items as long as they are in the same condition as they were sold. Exchanges for another item of an amount equivalent to or more than the original purchase price are permitted. In the case of exchanging for a more expensive item, only the difference in cost will be charged in a reserved listing.

I use high quality materials for all my creations... but sometimes kids can be rough and so I do offer a guarantee on my Binky Leashes and Mitten Clips... if you child wears them out the first year, I will be happy to repair them!

The return shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer. If the item is being exchanged or repaired, I will cover the cost of shipping it back to you! (exception only if exchange is for an item requiring more costly shipping... in which case you will only pay the difference).

SNAP BELT ELASTIC

Polkadot Elastic - This elastic is soft, flexible, and has plenty of stretch.... but it's not flimsy! This is high quality elastic and the pattern is different on either side.
Patterned & Coloured Elastic - This elastic is stiffer than the polkadot elastic, with slightly less stretch but stronger pull. The same pattern is printed individually on both sides.
Black Elastic - The solid black elastic is thicker than the other two with a bit wider weave. It is a nice mix of flexibility and strength.

All of Little Tadpole Designs handmade items have been created after looking at many different designs and incorporating what we personally liked best from them AND from my own inspiration... a lot of thought and effort has gone into the designs to ensure that they are different from others I've seen, attention has been paid to the smallest detail, and I am able to offer you the highest quality.
