Custom/YYMN Policies

A deposit is required to hold any custom slots. When purchasing a customs slot through the store, I expect customers to contact me the day of purchase to begin working out details. Your initial deposit will be deducted from your final total.

When purchasing a YYMN slot, please remember that I am located in Canada, so your yarn may take a bit longer to reach me. I typically receive packages which are shipped First Class within a week or two, but there have been rare occasions where it has taken longer. YYMN customers are also responsible for ensuring they have sent the correct amount of yarn for the order they are placing, as I cannot be responsible for yarn shortages. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about yarn requirements and I will do my best to help you out.

Payment in full is required before I begin knitting.

Please note that I cannot be responsible for items that do not fit when they have been knit to requested measurements. Please make sure to measure your little one carefully when placing a custom order. If you have any questions regarding what/how to measure, please contact me!

With regards to pooling, please understand that while I will do my best to minimize it, it is sometimes a fact of hand-dyed yarns. As a result, returns based pooling will not be accepted. I will, however, send photos upon request as my work on your item progresses, and will always send a photo of the finished object before your item ships. It is also important to note that pooling is that it often looks much more obvious in photographs than in person.

I check my email often, and hope all my customers will feel free to contact me with any questions -- as trivial as they may be, I want to ensure your complete happiness with your item! I will always return emails within 24 hours, though it is often sooner.
