My name is Vanessa O'Betz. I started Michael Grace Designs as a way to continue to do what I love (sew) and benefit more people. As a mom, I know its important to look and feel your best. That's why I create mama and baby items with beautiful, creative fabric. I want you to feel your best.

I am passionate about baby carriers. I have been since my oldest son, now 3.5, was a newborn. I learned how comforting it was for both of us to use baby carriers. I used a ring sling with him as a newborn, then mei tais. When my daughter was born, 2 years later, I used a pouch and then a mei tai. The mei tais are my favorite carrier, they are so versatile. You can use them from newborn to toddlerhood. And with my daughter - I did - I started using a mei tai when she was 4 weeks old.
