My flirtation with knitting came about eight years ago, and has grown into a full-blown marriage since then. I love to knit children's items--babies and kids just look so cute in handknit things. There's nothing like swaddling your baby in a handknit blanket or covering his little noggin with a soft, warm handknit hat.

I'm mom to two young children, and I knit because I love it. I use natural yarns in my products (cotton, wool, alpaca) because I believe they are beautiful, functional and healthy. Ours is a smoke-free and pet-free household.
