My name is Lacey and I am the mom of three wonderful boys. My husband and I have been married since December of 2002. We reside in Texas. My oldest son, AJ was born in February of 2002. Dustin came to us in June of 2003 and our Brighton was born in August of 2006. Whether or not we have another has yet to be seen! With three boys running around I'm not sure if I could handle more craziness!

Some of you may recall that we had a Boston Terrier named Chester, well our Chester needed a new home and went to a loving woman with no children. Much better fit I think.

With the puppy leaving the home my husband decided he wanted some cats. So we welcomed two Siamese Mix sisters into our home. Like Chester, they do not dye the yarn ;). The yarn is stored in a closet away from kitties and kidlets other than when it is being dyed. But just the same, a stray cat hair may make it's way onto the yarn so please do be warned of this.

I became a SAHM in December of 2003. I became interested in cloth diapering before conceiving Brighton, I just knew that with our next I wanted to have less of an impact on our environment and my child.

When I learned about wool and it's benefits I immediately fell in love with it. I wanted to learn more about it, I wanted to touch all the different types....I wanted...to DYE IT!!!! My first round was with Easter Egg dye, on Easter lol. I was immediately in love and quickly moved onto more professional dyes. Being able to take such a blank pallat and create something so wonderful felt amazing. To make it into something new and whole, to take something I've seen or experienced and place it onto the wool is lovely.

I came up with Jelly Beans for my store name as that's what my husband calls our Brighton. I wanted to be sure it fit what I am doing so I thought about the coveted candy. They're sweet, attractive and people love them....yup, definately fits ;).

Hopefully you enjoy the scenery of my yarns whether or not they enter your home :).

Thank you for taking some time to read about me! Now I hope you enjoy the pictures of my boys which will likely change often :).
