Andy is a new slim-style doll from Hokey Dinah with knee joints allowing her to be posed in many adorable sitting positions. Historically, no Hokey Dinah doll has ever had this characteristic, and this makes Andy special and perhaps even the very first of many like her! I love her very much, and I hope you will, too.
Andy has beige skin, beeswax blushed cheeks, and beautiful, unique hair, made from rare, moorit/wensleydale cross locks. Each lock has been felted to a cap and carefully placed to give her the perfect amount of body. Her knees have been seamed to give her legs maneuverability allowing her to sit very well, and appear relaxed and natural in her positioning.
She has an organic pointelle top and underwear, and chocolate chambray crops trimmed with two layers of ruffled cotton tatting. Her scarf is made from hand dyed wool, and is trimmed in the same handspun yarn her shoes have been crocheted from. The buttons on her shoes are handmade from local trees, and you guys.... she has ears; this is almost unheard of for a Hokey Dinah doll. Her socks are upcycled cashmere stripes, and her hair is adorned with wool balls on hemp cord.
She is been a thrill to create, and I hope that is obvious from the way she looks to you! Thank you so much for looking in, and for giving consideration to this sweet girl.
