Policies on instock items

It is important that you understand once you click on BIN that you are committed to purchasing that item. Payment is expected within 2 hours unless other arangements have been made. Failure to pay for the item will result in the item being re-listed and possible blocking from Alligator Knits.

Communication is very important with any custom spot, yarn or knitting. We are both busy mothers and will return emails within 48 hours, but sometimes life happens. We will do our best to let you know if something comes up, but if you haven't heard from us within 48 hours try sending another email to make sure it did not get accidentally deleted or sent to spam. We also expect the same in return, we have to maintain a tight schedule ourselves and expect the same courtesy in return.

If you are supposed to send yarn for a YYMD or YYMN spot please do so in a timely manner. Also for YYMN spots please make sure you send enough yarn for the size you are wanting completed. If you have any questions I will be more than happy to answer questions for you. I would hate to get your yarn and realize that we do not have enough to complete the project you had in mind.

We will do our best to avoid pooling, but sometimes hand-dyed yarn and the size requested does not want to work together. We will make sure we send updated pictures to make sure you are happy with they way they are turning out. Pooling is not a defect and if you have concerns, and the yarn will not cooperate we can discuss other options. Also remember that the screen picks up on more patterning then in person and that every monitor differs so colors may seem of in hand-dyed yarns as well. This is not a defect and returns will not be accepted based on pooling.

Please make sure your measurements are correct. We can not accept returns for items that do not fit. If you have any questions regarding how to measure your child please contact us and we will instruct you how to properly measure for the best fit.

Payment for customs is also expected in a timely manner. If something comes up please let us know so we can work something out. We understand life happens and will work with you, but can not do so if we do not know what is going on.

Return Policy

If for some reason you are not happy with your purchase please contact us. We will work on a case by case basis. Wool items must be unworn and have not been altered in any way for a return to be considered. We can not accept returns on custom items, this is only for in-stock. If a return is worked out the buyer will be responsible for shipping. If you are unhappy and considering a return you must contact us within 5 days of receiving the item. Ribbons for decorative purposes are not covered and are purely for decorative purposes, and do not affect the function of the garment as well. This applies for in-stock only, thank you for understanding :)
