my name is lori and i'm married to a goofy guy who always makes me laugh, and two kiddos who fill me with joy and make me giggle and beam with pride one moment, and pull my hair out the next. jasper is almost 5, and millie is turning 3 in a few weeks. we live in the far northwest burbs of chicago, a mere 10 minutes from the wisconsin border. love the open spaces, hate the commute dh has to make into chicago during the week.

alfabette zoope has served as a wonderful place and way to recapture and rekindle my love for doing crafty things that had gotten lost in the shuffle of work, kids, houses, and all that good (but not very creative) stuff. i specialize in handpainted and kettledyed yarns – mostly wool and wool blends – as well as handbatiked and dyed clothing and fabric.

i also work from home part-time for a longtime client in the music business doing web design, html, fan club coordination, and fulfillment for his online store. i also occasionally design and/or build websites for friends.

i'm thrilled to be stocking with this amazing group of women at fresh. many of us have worked together in other venues and shops and i'm thrilled with the group we have put together and will continue to nurture and grow over time.
