Shipping Policy

I try to get packages out the next day. Sometimes it's not possible, but packages are never mailed later than two days after purchase!  If there is a shipping overage of more than $1, then I refund the overage. 

All packages come with a tracking number, even if I have to add on the extra purchase if item gets shipped first class (which most do ship first class). Packages of two items or more often get upgraded to PRIORITY MAIL!

When I send a shipment notification, it means that I have taken the package to the Post Office and have mailed it personally, I do not leave packages in a mail box and wait for the postal carrier to pick them up. If the tracking number that I send out with the shipping notification states "not found" it's because the postal system hasn't updated yet, so please check back in a few hours. 

Please purchase insurance for a package if you are concerned about it's safety. Once I hand it over to the Post Office, the items are no longer my responsibility. Creaking Wood does not give refunds if the post office is responsible for damage of an item, this is why I recommend purchasing insurance for every package. It's a simple security measure, and the cost of insurance is not very much.
