About Tot Wraps
Hello, and welcome to Tot Wraps™. My name is Krysta and I am the owner and seamstress of the Tot Wraps™ line . I love creating and designing diapers. I made so many diapers for my own children that I gave away two stashes worth and I still have way too many diapers. So I figured I better start selling these if I am going to keep making them. I wanted to provide the best diaper to my customers, in terms of fit and ease of use. After many, many hours of pattern drafting and sample making, I stumbled upon Little Comet Tails patterns and decided to get licensed to sew and sell from this great pattern line.
Soon I was itching to create my own designs again and this time the pattern just seemed to draw itself. With a few frustrations along the way, most things just seemed to fall into place, and the Dream Diaper™ was launched. The Dream Diaper™ is the easiest way to cloth diaper without breaking the bank. The Tot Wraps™ Dream Diaper™ is a true one-size, all-in-one diaper with all the features you need in a diaper.
I am a married, homeschooling, cloth diapering WAHM to four, soon to be five, children from ages 8 down to 2 years. Sewing and design has always been a part of my life. My first design, that I remember anyway, were dolls I made as Christmas presents when I was almost 6 years old. They looked just like any other stuffed doll, only small, and not sewn the neatest. They had hair, facial features, and clothing. I will have to post a picture of the one I inherited back from my Nanny (Grandma). When my first child was born I had her in cloth diapers that I made and loved them, but when she outgrew them I succumbed to the lure of the "easy" disposable. Took me three more children to come to my senses and back to cloth diapering. At first I went back to cloth for the savings, but the cuteness and the lack of leaks has become my major benefit. I get such satisfaction from making, washing, and putting my children in cloth diapers that I had to spread the word. I personally try and test every diaper type I sell.
So, why Tot Wraps™ for a name? That is my Uncle's doing. He is one of those dry humor comedians and when I was brainstorming for a name he came up with Tot Under Wraps. I wanted a more "generic" name, so I shortened it. I figure as long as it is something soft and comforting that wraps around a child or that a child can wrap their arms around, then it is a Tot Wrap™.
