All about the Dream Diaper™, One-Size, All-in-One DiaperWhen I had my first child back in year 2000, I had a vision of my “dream diaper” in my head. I wanted an all-in-one style diaper that would fit all sizes, but what was available then—and even now—never fit my idea of the perfect diaper. Everything I saw had either complicated snap systems, bulky fold-overs, long drier times, were not all-in-ones, would really only fit an older medium-sized child, or had a pocket that always had to be stuffed. So, after a gentle prodding from my local store, I decided I should design my own perfect diaper. After several months of pattern drafting and testing, I have made what I consider—and what I hope you consider—the perfect Dream Diaper.
Features of the Tot Wraps Dream Diaper™, one-size, AIO include: A wide fit-range in a single diaper—trim enough to not be bulky on a newborn, yet large enough to fully cover a toddler. There’s no need to invest in multiple sizes of diapers, saving you both time and money. "Bikini" cut diaper reduces bulk on a newborn, makes crawling and sitting more comfortable, and provides enough coverage on a toddler. No complicated folds, flaps, snaps, or attachment parts.With only one pair of rise-adjustment snaps this diaper is easy for anyone to use. Long-lasting, easy to use snap closures mean no hook ’n’ loop diaper chains and the closures will last the life of the diaper. Gentle clear elastic around leg and waist openings plus the lack of top-stitching allows the diaper to comfortably and gently stretch to fit almost all diaper-wearing children and eliminates red marks. A colorful, waterproof polyester PUL outer that rolls in on the legs and completely edges the inner diaper for a leak-proof, one-piece diaper. The combination of under-belly fit, wide wings, snaps across the hips, and snap positioning prevent “wing droop” and eliminate the need for an umbilical snap-down or adjustment. Crossover snaps on tabs allow for maximum waist adjustment and the ability to close up a dirty diaper to contain the mess without the need of a wet-bag. A soft, absorbent inner and Zorb™ soaker holds up to 11 oz. of liquid, handling even toddler-sized messes without adding any doublers or inserts. The comfy cotton velour is drier to the touch than other absorbent fabrics yet still stays moist enough to let children know they are wet to aid in potty training. Some styles offer organic viscose of bamboo velour or stay-dray microfleece inners as an option. Maximum absorbency won't be reached until diaper is washed at least 5 times.
Large interior pocket opening allows you to increase absorbency for naps, trips, or night use (see Night use note below) with easy stuffing and no need to un-stuff before washing. The pocket opening also ensures thorough cleaning and shortens drier time to about an hour. Hourglass-shaped Dream Diaper™ inserts are optional since you won’t need them for normal use. Folding on stitched fold line allows insert to fit smaller rise settings. Thinner than a wet disposable so it fits well under any clothing, even jeans and Onsies,and the PUL roll-in at the legs and tummy prevent wicking to outer garments.

Night use note: Once your baby is past the newborn stage you will need to stuff your Dream Diaper™ with a Dream Diaper™ Insert or two for night or extended wear. I also suggest using a Tot Wraps™ Wool Soaker over the Dream Diaper™ for night use. All babies seem to eventually leak through PUL at night, but our wool stops those leaks and is easy to use and care for. Back to top

Folding on stitched fold line allows doubler to fit smaller rise settings. Thinner than a wet disposable so it fits well under any clothing, even jeans and Onsies.
Fitted diapers from Tot Wraps are made using the Little Comet Tails line of patterns. The Little Comet Tails patterns are innovative, trim, fit well, and have curves in all the right places.
Both the Preemie and Newborn size have a scoop front to keep the diaper off of the umbilical cord area.
All about Soaker Diaper Covers
Please note that weight ranges are approximate. A stretchy (knit) diaper is going to fit a larger range than a non-stretchy (woven) diaper. Measurements are a more accurate than weight to get proper sizing. The measurement ranges are of your child's actual measurements, not the diaper measurements. The diaper measures larger than shown to allow for ease of movement. The best fit is when your child's measurements are in the middle of the range. If your child fits in two sizes pick based on build, going larger for a chunkier build and smaller for a lean build. To measure your child you can use a flexible tape or a non-stretchy string and then measure the string against a flat ruler. Do measurements without a diaper or trainer on. The waist should be measured by laying the tape in the small of the back and then bring the tape around the sides to the front under the belly. The tape should be snug, but not super tight. Then start the end of the tape at the small of the back and come up between the legs to the under belly spot. This measures the rise. Be certain that your tape is just barely snug over the area and goes over the privates of a boy. Then measure the thigh, go straight across the largest part, usually right below the crotch. Do not measure where you think the diaper or trainer will hit on the leg. Back to top
