Fun and affordable diaper covers for your dinky ones
Winkydinks will be closing December 29th!
All available items are listed at my Etsy Shop
*PLEASE measure to ensure a proper fit* The soaker pattern I use (Katrina's) is
different than other patterns, and tends to run small, especially in fleece. My longies pattern is bigger in the hips
than my soaker pattern, so you may need a different size depending on
how the soaker fits.
Fleece is not stretchy in the rise, but the waist and legs have quite a bit of stretch (some fabrics even more than standard measurements).
listing is the measurements of the ITEM, not what rise it will fit. See more details about sizing vs. age ranges below.
++Any size can be made "LONG", which is the rise of the next size up.
*The thigh measurement is the actual measurement. To give enough room for them to drape, your thigh measurement should be at least 2" smaller, or they will fit tighter like leggings (or ask for
custom thigh width!) They are also wider in the hips than my soakers.
|Small||15"||13-18"||16-20"||11"||up to 7"|
|Medium||17"||15-20"||18-22"||13"||up to 9"|

|Extra Large||20.5"||19-24"||22-28"||15"||up to 14"|
I have a hard time giving age ranges for my items, as every baby is
different and the diapers you use may be more/less bulky than others. I
have some 5 months old who wear a Large, and some 2 year olds who wear a
Medium. Please go by measurement rather than what you "think" they
would wear. If they wear Medium diapers and Medium sweat pants, they may
still need a Large soaker. A newborn may need a small, or maybe a Medium (if using one size diapers). For a visual, check out my Facebook fan page
for Action Shots of customer's babies in various sized soakers (along with their ages, if I have them).
Here is a photo of a SMALL fleece soaker next to a Piddle Poddles one size diaper (similar to Goodmamas). Small usually
fits newborn up to 2-3 months, but not over a one size diaper (and some babies are too big for a small after the first month!).
HOW TO MEASURE FOR A DIAPER SOAKER:
(For a photo tutorial, see my blog)
Measure OVER the diaper(s) you'll be covering for Hip and Rise
measurements. If you don't have a flexible tape measure, use a piece of
string and the measure the results.
WAIST - measure around the waist, above where the diaper sits. If your waist measurement will not stretch to your hip measurement, you won't be
able to pull the soaker up and over the hips.
HIPS- Measure around the diaper, just below the waist.
RISE - Measure from top of diaper, through the crotch, and up the back
side to the top of the diaper on the back. You want your rise
measurement to be LONGER than the actual rise of the diaper to ensure it
is covered - as the soaker's rise is measured when flat, not with the
bulk of the diaper inside it. Usually 2" more is sufficient.
THIGH - Measure around the thickest part of the thigh below the hip
crease, on the skin.

Fleece diaper covers are a great alternative to wool - they are less expensive and equally re-usable!
