The short of it...I've been sewing since I was about 7. I've been sewing cloth diapers specifically well before our (now) 7 year old daughter was born.
I was born and raised in L.A. I met my husband while he was stationed at Fort Irwin, Ca. We were married 18 months when our first baby came along. That's when the diaper making bug hit. We spent another few years in the military, moved to Fort Bliss, El Paso, Texas, bought a house, I started Mandi's Menagerie, gave birth to our son in '06 and shortly thereafter we sold our newly remodeled house, moved back to Ca. (Northern) and hubby went back to school. We discovered (and rediscovered) our love of the country, farming, self sustainability, gardening, raising dairy goats, and simple living.
Four years later and life has landed us in the heartland of America (Central Kansas) where my husband teaches welding at the local high school. Never in a million years did I figure I'd be living in Kansas of all place but, it's beautiful, and we love it. We can raise our kids and dairy goats and live happily on 15 acres surrounded by trees and prairie grass. We garden, I sew, we remodel, work the farm and we just plain live. It can't get much better for us and we can't imagine a better place to raise our kids.
I stand behind each of my products 100%. If something is not right, contact me so that I can make it right. I do my best to be honest about the products I stand behind and put forth my best effort into each and every product.
We have cloth diapered both of our children. Seeing newly made cloth diapers all lined up on a shelf waiting for the a tiny arrival makes my heart sing! I believe in quality, integrity, honesty, hard work and the Good Lord. These are values we instill in our children and these are values we live our lives by.
