Items are created in a smoke-free, pet-free home in Canada. I live near the border, therefore I can ship either USPS or Canada Post. Please allow 1 to 8 days for shipping USPS (because I can only get there about once a week) and 1 to 3 days for shipping Canada Post.
US customers may choose either first-class or priority shipping. The cost includes delivery confirmation; insurance is extra. Insurance is automatically added into the shipping cost for any item over $75 (this will be stated in the listing). Canadian customers may choose either Canada for shipping via Canada Post with delivery confirmation, or first-class for shipping via USPS. Please be aware that I will only be able to provide a customs number and not a tracking number with this method, and it may take 2-3 weeks for the package to arrive. Local pick-up can be arranged in the White Rock/Surrey/Langley area of BC, Canada, or in Blaine, WA. Customers outside of the US or Canada may choose the local pick-up option and will be invoiced for the exact cost of shipping to their location.
Any shipping overages greater than $1 will be refunded.
If you find any issues with your item's functionality or workmanship please contact me with as many details and/or photos as possible so that I can work with you to resolve the problem. If a return is warranted, I will refund once the item is back in my hands. Shipping refunds will be handled on a case by case basis. Returns will only be accepted if contact to me is made within the first 10 days of you receiving your item.
Please note that pooling, colours not being as expected, and improper fit of the garment are not functionality or workmanship problems, and thus returns can not be accepted for these reasons. I take natural light photos in order for the colours to show as true to life as possible. I also always give measurements in the listings, so please be sure to measure your child carefully before purchasing. The only exception for a return due to fit issues is if I have somehow failed to match your given measurements in a custom item.
Due to the nature of hand knit garments, I can not accept exchanges.
You may email me at any time to request a time slot for a custom item. I will also list YYMN or MYMN slots in the store when possible for a non-refundable deposit. After discussing with you and deciding upon your custom item I will invoice you for the full balance before beginning your project. Your item will take 1-3 weeks for completion (if you are sending me your own yarn for a custom, this time will start when I have your yarn in hand). I can provide you with my mailing address, or I am also happy to have your yarn shipped directly to me from the dyer.
I do my very best to combat undesirable pooling in variegated yarns. I will provide you with progress pictures of your project to make sure you are happy with the results in every stage, and make sure to have your final approval before shipping. Please note that most pooling is much more noticeable in photos than while being worn.
I always love to hear what you think of your items (and love to see photos of garments in action as well)! An option to leave feedback on my store can be found on your HC purchases paid after a transaction is completed. If you have a problem with your purchase I would very much appreciate you contacting me before leaving negative feedback so that hopefully any issue can be worked out. I would also be happy to leave you feedback if you can provide me a place to do so (such as diaperswappers or the BBC swap feedback boards).
While I am still building up feedback on this storefront, here are links to where you can find some feedback for me: the baby wearer, diaperswappers, and BBC. You may need to have an account at these sites to view the feedback.
