Cloth Diapers:
I am a licensed seamstress for the KCK Sized Diaper pattern. I have had several people test my diapers and have received very positive feedback!
I always use bamboo fleece for the absorbency part of the diaper. I feel that this works the best and isn't too bulky. I always prep the fabric before sewing. I usually wash it about 5-7 times. This means they are well prepped before you receive them. So open your package and put it right on baby if you wish!
About Me:
I started cloth diapering right away with my oldest son (he will be 2 in Aug. 2011). I had many issues in the beginning mainly because he is a super heavy wetter and I didn't know anyone who cloth diapered and could help me out! I finally found a solution that worked for me and was so happy! I started a blog: http://crunchyhumbug.blogspot.com to help others since cloth diapering can be pretty overwhelming in the beginning!
When I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd son I decided that I needed to learn how to make my own diapers. I started with some free patterns and some cheap fabric just to see if I could do it! I almost gave up in the beginning but decided to keep practicing and I am so glad I did because now I am pretty good at it if I don't say so myself and I really enjoy it!!
