I am a stay at home mom to three wonderful kids, ranging in age from 2 to 13 years old.
I began sewing cloth diapers for my youngest child, and fell in love with all the different fabrics for making cloth diapers. In fact, it soon became apparent that while I enjoyed making the diapers, what I REALLY loved was buying the fabric!
The thing I found most frustrating when I was making diapers, however, was the very limited selection of PUL prints, and the minimum yardage amounts (occasionally 1/2 yd, but more often 1 yd minimums). Personally, I love variety and the thought of making 4 of the same diapers just wasn't appealing.
Most of my fabrics are sold by the diaper cut, because my main focus is the occasional seamstress; the mama who just enjoys making enough diapers to keep her little one's buns fashionably covered. I also hope to appeal to the seamstress who is sewing for profit, but maybe wants more of a variety to offer her customers.
By and large, though, I love fabric. I love looking at it, I love buying it, and I love, love, love seeing the UPS truck pull up to my house and off-loading all those fluff-filled boxes!
