I’ve been lots of things in my life; a daughter, wife, mom, teacher, and grandmother.  My favorite thing to be is a grandmother.  Now I it seems I am an entrepreneur.  I never thought that would be something I’d do, but you know what?  I like it!

I taught myself how to knit and crochet.  Once I got the knack of pattern reading,  I was knitting and crocheting blankets for high school graduation gifts.  My gift giving broadened when the graduates started getting married and having babies.   I got a simple sewing machine for Christmas one year and started making clothes, and home décor items.  When my first grandchild was born, I couldn’t resist making little girly outfits.  Then I started to dabble in quilt making.  My oldest daughter introduced me to modern cloth diapering and suggested I use my skills to start a business making handmade baby items.  I set up a shop on Hyena Cart and suddenly I was in business doing what I’ve always loved to do!  I’ve learned a lot in this venture.  It has been great fun meeting people and making new friends.  Every time I finish a project I survey the end result and smile with pride for a job well done.  My goal for each sale is to provide quality craftsmanship and superb customer service.
