alterations: please email me if there is anything you would like to change on a piece gemstone art you might be interested in. i can usually alter the length of a necklace or size of a braclet by adding chain. i can change a clasps to lobster or toggle, whatever you prefer. if you want sterling silver, please indicate that as well. many pieces already have sterling closures, some are silver plated. i also use copper, pewter, vermeil & gold plated closures.
care of your gemstone art: sterling silver will tarnish & can be restored to silver-shine with a polishing cloth. pearls need to be open to air to prevent drying out. gemstones can be delicate & fragile, use caution & care when wearing & removing them. lotions, make up & other types of cosmetics can alter your gemstones. use caution to not drop or smash your gemstones, this can damage them. removing necklaces can be easier by turning the closure to the front. bathing, showering, swimming, sleeping, & other activities such as hot-tubbing or being in a sauna may cause damage to your gemstone art. to do so will be at your choice assuming full responsibility for the outcome. |
