Cuddle Blanket™

The Cuddle Blanket is a Tickety Bu original. Created back in 2007, the Cuddle Blanket was developed first for my daughter, who never took to a lovey, but always loved blankets. She has always watched and helped me sew and one day asked me to make her a blanket out of some fabric that I was sewing into a baby blanket for a friend. I made her a blanket that she could treat like a lovey, something to cuddle up with, cover up with, or just love on. The first was such a success that she promptly ordered two more in various sizes! I also made some for my son and when he loved his as much, I decided it was something that every baby should have.

Made of 2 layers of luxurious organic bamboo velour, Cuddle Blankets have no serging, no picot edge, no trim, nothing to get in the way of cuddling up with the softness and silkiness of the velour. It's the perfect thing for swaddling or to snuggle up with at bedtime, or anytime. Sized around 30"x36" it's big enough to grow with your little one. Custom sizes are available.

Cadara Bu™

Cadara is the phonetic for hug in Hindi and this blanket is definitely designed to hug — a swaddling blanket taken to a whole new level. Wrap your little one in luxury with the Cadara Bu.

Created in Spring 2008, this is the perfect blanket for a peaceful afternoon nap, to curl up on the couch with a good book, or with a loved one for a movie. It’s made large, for the perfect weight to give comfort but its got incredible drape so it’s easy to snuggle with too.

Mezzo Bu™

Developed in Fall 2009, the Mezzo Bu is a happy medium. Mezzo means middle, and this is in between the Cuddle Blanket and the Cuddle Throw. The Cuddle Throw is big enough for a bed cover, and easily two to snuggle with on the couch and the Cuddle Blanket is the perfect swaddling blanket for your babe. The Mezzo Bu is right in the middle, not too big, not too small. Perfect. It makes a great blanket for older children, or if you don’t like to share.

Bitty Bu™

The Bitty Bu was developed for my youngest son when he was first born, early 2009. Customers have always told me that they lose their Tickety Bu prefolds when their little ones adopt them as loveys. Since my first two kids never took to a lovey, I thought this thievery was adorable, but couldn't really relate. Well, our newest addition showed a love for diapers in the same way. He grabbed hold of any fabric he can get his hands on from birth. It was clear he needed a lovey. And, the Bitty Bu™ was born.

It's a hand-holding sized version of the popular Cuddle Blanket™, perfect for chewing, squeezing, loving. Sold in sets of two so one is always within reach, even when the other is in the wash. Made from 2 layers of luxurious organic bamboo velour, Bitty Bu have no serging, no picot edge, no trim, nothing to get in the way of cuddling up with the softness and silkiness of the velour. Sized 14” square.

Bitey Bu™

The Bitey Bu was, as are most of my products, inspired by life. My youngest son has always loved his Bitty Bu. It comforts him in a way I didn't think possible in a lovey. And now that he's teething, and having a rough time with it, it was apparent that chewing on his Bitty Bu was not going to help much. He needed a bit more bite to his Bu. And the Bitey Bu was born.

Also sold in sets of two, and made just like it's Bitty Bu cousin, the Bitey Bu has one difference, a 3" solid birch ring sewn into one of the loveys. The teething ring has been sanded smooth and finished with several layers of olive oil. A luxurious yet satisfying teether now, and a great tactile toy later.

Take a long hot bath, turn to your own inner self and take time for reflection. You know you deserve it, that ever-elusive me time. Afterward wrap up in the luxury of a bath sheet big enough to envelope you in the wonderful softness that only bamboo can give. Me time just took on a whole new meaning.

Brought to you Summer 2009, the Tickety Bu bath sheet is made from 2 layers of amazingly soft and absorbent bamboo terry. It is approximately 35"x60", but since the stretch is on the long side, it can easily be stretched to 70". Either way, it's big enough to wrap up anyone.

Hooded Towels

A Tickety Bu favorite since summer 2008, the hooded towel is more than just a towel, it’s a super hero cape, princess cloak, butterfly wings, or anything else your child can dream up. It’s the ultimate staple for anyone with kids—a hooded towel that is luxuriously soft, wonderfully absorbent and generously sized for years of use.

Made from two layers of amazingly absorbent and super soft bamboo loop terry, this towel is fully reversible. The hood has been constructed on the long side of the towel, not on the diagonal, for better coverage, and the hood is contoured for maximum comfort. Plus, it's over-sized at around 48"x30" so it's big enough to use well into childhood. My tall 6 year-old still uses hers.

Tickety Bu Prefolds

Tickety Bu prefolds offer one of the softest, yet most absorbent diapers around. Bamboo velour is 4-5 times more absorbent than cotton, only much trimmer. They are luxurious and silky, and let's not forget how soft they are!

 

These are made in the traditional way, a 2x4x2 prefold with no turning and topstitching, and no side serging to aggravate baby, which means that no matter how you fold it, there is just soft bamboo against baby's bum and legs. Made from luxurious bamboo velour or bamboo loop terry, these are a must have for any fluffy stash. Three sizes are available, 12"x14", 13"x15" and 14"x16".
