How to Use your Tushies Soaker

The two most important things for your child making it through the night dry is making sure you have enough absorbency for the amount your child wets, and that it is all tucked nicely into the cover!

With Cloth Diapers:

You can use your soaker as a diaper cover over flats, prefolds, or fitted diapers. Fleece is water resistant and will repel fluid back into the diaper. If your child's diaper is completely soaked in the morning then you need to add more absorbency (which you can do with one of my snap-in inserts! I love bamboo for a trim, natural, and very absorbent option for nighttime!)

If you would like even more protection you can use the soaker OVER your regular diaper cover or pocket diaper.

With Disposable Diapers:

There are two ways to use your Tushies soaker. If you are using the soaker by itself (without an insert) simply put the soaker on over your child's regular nighttime diaper making sure all of the diaper is tucked into the soaker. This works well as extra protection for the occasional leaker.

If you are using it with an insert then for best results cut or rip a few slits in the waterproof outer of your child's nighttime disposable diaper. Then put your Tushies soaker with the Snap-In Insert over the disposable diaper making sure all of the diaper is tucked in. The slits in the disposable diaper will allow fluid to flow into the insert of the soaker when the disposable diaper is full.
