Med Port Covers The pattern for Med Port Covers (or Medicine Port Covers) is completely my own. It took me months of developing and testing to come up with this product. The pattern is copyrighted and a patent is in the works - so please do NOT copy my product for sale. Even by making some changes you would still be infringing on my patent. I am not out to get rich by making these, I just want to help out other Tubie's that have the same problems that we have had with my son's feeding tube and to be able to afford to get him to-and-from therapy appointments.
In the future I may put the pattern up for sale for personal use (I have no problem with anyone that wants to make these for themselves or for gifts) and possibly have a licensing program so other makers of G-tube products can have these available, too. There are plenty of great diaper patterns out there for sale and for free, and I can point you in their direction if you are interested in making your own diapers. Just let me know! Soakers These are sizes that are currently available for Fleece or Wool Soakers/Shorties/Skirties/Longies. Size preemie through XXXLarge. If you need custom sizing please let me know!
- Preemie: Rise-12" Waist-9.5"-11" Thigh-3.5"- 4.5"
- Newborn: Rise-13" Waist-11.5"-13.5" Thigh-5"-7"
- Small: Rise-15" Waist-13"-15" Thigh-7"-8"
- Medium: Rise-17" Waist-15"-17" Thigh-9"-10"
- Large: Rise-19" Waist-17"-19" Thigh-10"-11"
- XLarge: Rise-20.5" Waist-19"-20.5" Thigh-11"-13”
- XXLarge: Rise-22” Waist-20”-22.5” Thigh-12”- 13”
- XXXLarge: Rise-23.5” Waist-22”-24.5” Thigh-13”-14”
Where to measure:
Waist measurement is around the belly just bellow the belly button
Rise measurement is from the back of the diaper at the top, down between the legs, then back up the front to just below the belly button
Thigh measurement is at the top of the leg
The pattern that I use to make these soakers is Katrina's Sew Quick Soaker. If you are handy with a sewing machine you can download the pattern from katrinassqs.blogspot.com. It's a great pattern, with great instructions! And there are also video tutorials available on youTube.
