Caring for your FluffyAlways wash with a cloth diaper safe detergent (I use tiny bubbles). This is my wash routine; it works best for us, but everyone is different:
1) Cold Wash/Cold Rinse
2) Hot Wash (with CD detergent)/Cold Rinse
3) Dry on medium or hang dry
If washing your diaper for the first time, dry the shell in the dryer for 15-20 minutes on hot to seal the PUL. Soakers will take at least 6 washings before reaching maximum absorbancy.
No Bleach or fabric softener.
If your diapers are feeling "crunchy", you can use ecover to soften them back up. |
