Liquid Woolie Wash

The liquid wool wash is what you are going to actually use to "wash and soak" your woolies in your sink its gentler than a wool wash bar since you dont have to actually scrub the fibers(which can cause felting if you scrub to hard).

First you need to rinse your woolies out to get any urine out of them,do this by filling the sink with tepid/cool water submerge your wooland swish it around several times then gently squeeze the wool out and drain your sink.

You would fill your sink up with tepid warm water and then add 1-2tsp(yes teaspoons my wash is very high in lanolin and it is concentrated ) of wool wash to the sink water and then swish it around and then I turn my woolies inside out and submerge them and swish them around a bit(if you have a stain you can put a pea sized drop of wash on that stain and work it into the stain and it should come right out)let them soak for 15-30 minutes or an hour!, there is no need to rinse them as my soap forumla leaves no residue and then gently squeeze the excess water from them and hang/lay flat to dry( you may also lay your wet woolies in a dry towel roll the towel up and then step on the towel several times that will remove a lot more water too).your woolies are now washed and moderately lanolized, if you need them to be heavier lanolized you may increase the wash to 1-2 TBSP per sinkful of water this will give you a higher lanolin ratio with the water used, keep in mind this is for 1-2 pieces of small wool, if you are lanolizing several items or bigger items like longies instead ofsoakers/shorties you will probly need to increase the amount of wash you use to be able to get them suffieciently lanolized.

Woolie Spray
The woolie spray has a high lanolin content as well as the wash, to use the spray it is great for touch ups,in between washings, as well as if you have a heavy wetter, after your wool is washed turn the woolies inside out and spray 2-4 times the inside around the wet zone area i usually do 2 in the crotch 1 in the rear and 1 in the front then you work that spray into the fibers gently with your hands, you may then turn them right side out and repeat if you have a heavy wetter, a light to moderate wetter should be fine with just the inside done. lay the woolies flat or hang them up and let them dry and they are good to go:)

Liquid Lanolin Oil
If you need more lanolin in your wash(my wash has a 30-35% lanolin content already) you would then get a small bottle of the liquid lanolin oil 2-4ounce bottle will last a long time or the 1 ounce bottle would be great for just doing night woolies that may need a heavier lanolization than your dayime woolies, you would add approx 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of that to the wash water before you add your wool and swish it around till its emulsified and then add the wool and soak for 30ish minutes:) The oil is great for those heavy wetting babies out there!(if your sink water is not warm enough you may need to mix the oil in a small container with a couple drops of baby shampoo and water or liquid wool wash and water and shake to get the oil to emulsify)

Solid Woolie Balm

My solid Woolie balm can be used to do the "traditional" lanolizing method, take a pea sized amount approx 1/4-1/2 teaspoon from the jar put that into a small tupperware container or old baby food jar works well too, add 1-2 teaspoons of baby shampoo or baby wash or wool wash, then add approx 1-2 cups of water place this in the microwave for about 1-2 minutes depending on your microwave you want the lanolin to be completely melted, while that is going in the microwave go ahead and fill your sink up with tepid water, when the lanolin is melted pop the top on it and shake very well this will cause the lanolin to disperse with the soap, then pour this mixture into your sink swish it around and then add your wool.

Solid Woolie Wash Bars

My solid wool wash bars are glycerine based and contain approx 30% lanolin. They are great for getting stains out as well. Because of the very high lanolin content and the very mild glycerin soap used in my bars (no sls which is a harsh chemical that produces lots of lather) there will not be alot of lather in these bars, you do not need suds and tons of lather to get the wool clean. The suds are emulsified as they come from the soap due to the high amount of lanolin in my bars. while you are filling your sink up simply run the warm water over the bar until your sink water is cloudy then you may soak the wool as normal. If you are using the bar on a stain please wet your wool first before gently scrubbing it with the bar. These also make great body soaps as well! After use please allow your soap to dry and not sit in water it will make them last longer:)
