Should I prep my new diaper(s)?
If you've just purchased new diapers, you'll need to wash them. You should try your new diaper(s) on your baby before you wash to ensure they will fit. Then run all new diapers with synthetic fabrics through a hot/warm wash with like-colored diapers and detergent. I do pre-wash fabrics on hot with no detergent before I sew, but some fabrics may still bleed. Any fabrics with Bamboo or Hemp (like All-in-Two inserts) will need to be washed with detergent (no other diapers added) and dried 4-5 times to remove their natural oils and waxes which can cause repelling.
What wash/dry routine do you recommend for Arctic Rose diapers?
Hot Rinse, Hot Wash (A white's wash is sometimes great because some washing machines add extra rinses to that cycle), Two cold rinses. All routines vary from person to person, machine to machine, so this may not be the perfect routine for you. Please dry on low or hang dry. Medium or hot dry cycles are good to reseal PUL, but can wear out diapers faster if used frequently.
Wet Bags can be tossed in with diapers when needed!
Do I have to pay sales tax?
You will be charged a sales tax if you live in the state of Washington. Arctic Rose Boutique just recently moved to Alaska and while it is licensed in both states, Alaska does not have a state sales tax.
Do you ship to my country?
Most likely, yes! If Etsy or HyenaCart allow you to check out, your item will be shipped to the address provided. There is an extra charge for items shipped out side the US.
What are my payment options?
Both Etsy and HyenaCart provide you with the opportunity to check out using Paypal. Etsy also allows a direct checkout, but we prefer customers to stick to Paypal as they offer both buyer and seller protections, where Etsy does not.
Why don't you sell snack bags?
While we would love to make snack bags, there has yet to be a fabric approved by the FDA for commercial use with foods.
Can you donate an item for me to review?
