I still don't have the full time to devote to my store that I had, but I am ready to start taking some custom orders. Most of the stuff left over from before my break is still on clearance, as I want to stock some fresh stuff soon.

FAQ's:
What special care is required for embroidered
items?
I use a polyester thread, which holds up better to the
heavy use and intense washing that children's clothes often require. However,
you should be careful not to use too much bleach, and be careful not to snag the
threads. Carefully review washing instructions for each type of item as well. As
a general rule, I suggest washing any colored item in cold water the first time,
to help ensure colorfastness.
On the diapers, there is a "pocket" of PUL
on the inside to envelope the stitches so that the PUL's waterproofness is not
compromised. Try not to pull on the PUL pocket!
On the back side of the
T-shirt embroidery is an ironed-on layer to prevent itching for baby's sensitive
skin. Most babies will not be bothered by the backside of the embroidery if this
layer comes off, but feel free to let me know if it needs to be replaced. You
can buy some more lining inexpensively at Wal-Mart and iron it on yourself, or
you can send it back to me and I'll be happy to fix it.
Why are my burp cloths so stiff?
These
prefold diapers will get softer and fluffier after a few washes. I have some of
these same prefolds from my first baby (now 5 ½ years old) that are super soft
and work great for all those messy spit-ups!
How often do you stock?
I stock once a
week on Tuesdays. Please be understanding if I'm not exactly on time, as I have
3 little ones who need their Mommy! :)
How can I get a custom project done?
I
will usually stock 2 custom slots per week, beginning after the Grand Opening in
April. By "custom", I mean this: You pick out 1 or 2 items from the
non-embroidered section, then select a design for each item (you can see the
available designs in the "previously sold" section). Specify any thread colors
you would like, and whether you would like something different on the caption,
such as the child's name. I will try to ship these items to you within one week
of your order.
What is your refund
policy?
I will take returns on unwashed, unused items within 15
days of purchase. Shipping is not refundable, and return shipping is the Buyer's
responsibility. Please email me to let me know you're returning an item, and the
reason. Refunds will be posted only after the item is received, so please BE
SURE to purchase tracking on your package—I am not responsible for the item
until it arrives in my mailbox.
If there is something wrong with the
embroidery, I will also refund you your return shipping costs. You can then
request to receive a replacement item of identical size, color, and design, or
you can receive a refund for your purchase (including original shipping fees). I
reserve the right to make the final decision on whether to exchange or refund
the item.
How much do you charge for
shipping?
Shipping is always $3.00 to anywhere in the continental
US, $4.00 to CAN, AK and HI. This is for your whole purchase, regardless of how
large or small. Occasionally, I offer free shipping on select items, or as a
special discount. I will also ship to other countries if you will pay for the
extra shipping fees.
Do you
embroider on any other brand of diaper besides Fuzzi Bunz?
Yes!
I'm now a licensed retailer for Happy Heiny's and Green Acre Designs. I also mix
in other brands as I have them available, and I stock many of these for the
Diaper Menagerie list for customs. This list changes frequently, so if you see
something you like, grab it!
Do you
embroider on any other type of diaper besides pockets?
I've now
added Thirsties covers to my line-up, which you will see in stock more and more
often. You can also order a Thirsties cover for your custom. I hope to add a few
prefolds soon, and possibly some fitteds at some point. If there's a specific
brand/style that you like, let me know so I can gauge the interest. Thanks!
What's the meaning of life?
Okay, that one's a little more difficult. Check back with me in about 50
years, and maybe I'll have a better answer… ;)
