About me!
My name is Sarah Flanagan, and I am the owner of Sarah's Baby Boutique. I am a mom to three beautiful little boys, Patrick (3 1/2), Samuel (2) and Ethan (9 m.), and wife of 5 years to wonderful husband, Andrew. Ever since I was a very little child, I was fascinated by colors, and as I grew I also began learning how to do needlework and sew. When I was a freshman in high school my father bought my mom a fancy embroidery machine, which I ended up being the one to use and love. In high school I spent much time sewing fun projects, from toss pillows to madrigal costumes, and even won the Home Economics Student of the Year award my senior year! In college I went on to earn a BS in Business Management. Upon graduating from college it was my dream to one day open my own business, but I had never really considered what type of business I wanted. When children entered the picture, my dreams were pushed aside as I began the time consuming but wonderfully enjoyable task of caring for young ones. It was when we started to cloth diaper our three sons in the beginning of 2008 when I suddenly had the inspiration to begin making embroidered diapers. We upgraded my old embroidery machine and I began working on lots of fun new sewing projects.
I do things here and there as I have time, so not everything I make will always be available. I hope someday to expand into a larger business, but for now Sarah's Baby Boutique is my hobby and a fun creative outlet for me as I raise my three little men!
