If we could sum up the year in one word to our customers to express how we feel, it would be gratitude. We are also thankful to the other WAHM's here on Hyena Cart, and to express our thanks, we would like to "Pay It Forward" to you by offering this completely free-for-shipping set. Our one hope for this set is that if it may move on to another family, that it is paid forward in the same mindset as it leaves the homes where they were lovingly created.
The catalyst of this movement was from a woman most know, love and respect. Morwenna of Mosaic Moon. If you know Morwenna you will not be surprised by the following. And I know I am not the only one who has been touched by her generosity. Last year I was expecting a package from Morwenna containing yarn a customer was having sent to me directly to knit up. When I opened the package I found more than just the expected yarn. My heart swelled. Unbeknownst to Morwenna, this sweet yarn arrived during a particularly rough season I was going through. It was a joy to just look at the yarn and hold it. It really uplifted me. I didn't know what to do with it at the time, but saved it for something special.
A couple months ago it came to me and I knew what had to be done. The first person I thought of to join me was Lindsey. Faster than I could hit refresh on my inbox did she reply with a "yes!" <3

Your babe will be dressed for the Holidays and beyond in this sweet tee. I have appliquéd a retro take on the Partridge in a Pear Tree. Appliqué is made from 100% cotton knits and hand dyed bamboo fleece with hand embroidered details on the little red bird. The tee is a size 3/6 month from American Apparel and runs a tad small. It fits best from 7lbs and up.
Reverse is covered in a soft knit mesh to protect delicate skin from scratchy threads. As always, Cake appliqués are cut by hand and free hand stitched on my machine.
