Shipping: Flat fee shipping of $2.00 for most items, priority or other specialty shipping options available. Insurance offered and recommended. Due to repeated bad experiences with the USPS both by us and several fellow WAHMs, we are now including insurance on specific items. As always, you are welcome to add insurance on any item you purchase. Some larger or bulky items will be listed as “actual shipping” and more details will be given in individual listings.
Returns: Our products are carefully constructed and if there are any problems, we want to know and make it right! However, all of our items are made to be used and once used will eventually show normal wear and tear. Upon receipt of your product, please look it over carefully and contact us right away (7 days) with any questions. Rips, tears, cuts, or stains will disqualify an item from being returned; Your use and laundering methods are beyond our control.
Knits will be listed with measurements; shirts will be listed showing manufacture sizing. Please ask for further sizing information before purchasing.
Hand knit items are of heirloom quality and with proper care will last to be handed down for generations. Complete care instructions will be included with each item.
Appliquéd shirts are made to withstand the rough wear that kids dish out. They do not require any special care for laundering (I’m too busy to “baby” kid’s clothes!). Don’t use bleach, but I do use spot cleaner to clean the white T’s without harming the bright appliqués.
Toys: I am a mother of three small children; I will not sell a toy that I don’t feel comfortable with my children playing with. However, some of our toys ARE made with small parts (button eyes) and you must decide if you feel safe using these toys. For safety’s sake, you should periodically check toys for any loose parts (just as you would any other toy). If you know that your baby is simply enamored with buttons and is likely to chew them, contact us and upon request we can try to alter the toy so that no small parts are used.
Costumes: The dress-up costumes I make are designed as toys, not as garments. I will try to make the costumes both fun and sturdy so they may be enjoyed for many hours of play. Edges will be finished with serging and any loose threads secured. Due to the nature of the fabrics used, I can only recommend spot cleaning, launder at your own risk.
Customs: We love to do customs! There is no way we can make and keep in stock the entire variety of items we can make, but we will try to have pictures in the gallery to show you a number of examples. Custom knits will often require a large outlay in terms of materials and time, so a deposit of half will be required. Custom appliqués will require a down payment to cover any special supplies or blanks.
