Created just for this stocking, Elemental Truth was Low Water Immersion (LWI) dyed in a loose rainbow of colors, then overdyed with one rainbow side toned with gold and the other with earthy brown. This gives the effect of a light and dark rainbow effect - though strictly speaking not a standard rainbow with proper succession of colors. The LWI technique provides for a more organic mixing of colors and the overdye process creates beautiful secondary colors. These skeins are really like an abstract painting in a way :) It was very labor intensive to create, but I hope you will agree that the results are worth it. The depth and intensity varies through out the skeins and is really just breath taking. You are purchasing 2 skeins totalling 8.2 oz and approximately 574 yards. I can dye you coordinating semi-solid trim if you'd like, although I can't guarantee it will be exactly the same. Just include your trim request in the notes at check out and I will invoice you the additional $11.50 for a 2 oz skein or $23 for a full 4 ounces. Allow up to 2 weeks for trim skein to be dyed for your order if you want trim. Gaia Organic Merino Worsted - 100% organic merino yarn, worsted weight, 4 ounce skein / 280 yards. Gauge: 4-5 sts per inch, 12 wraps per inch, needle size 7-9. A very smoothly plied, bouncy and well-defined yarn that is virtually free from any debris. Takes dye in a softer, lighter, and often warmer way. Always a customer favorite and dreamy to work with!
