Welcom to The Cloth Canoe! Why did we choose this name for our business? My husband and I have felt that we needed a name that really portrayed who we are. My ancestors (and those of my husband, who is Acadian) have travelled the lakes and rivers of East and Central Canada in canoes, and have discovered and endured so much while doing so. We as a family try to follow in their footsteps and teach our children our heritage. It's not just teaching them where we come from, but to also be earth-friendly, and live as close and in harmony with nature as we possibly can.

All the photos portrayed were taken when my husband took a canoe trip in Ontario's biggest National Park; Algonquin Park. In fact, the man in the canoe enjoying fly-fishing is my husband :) .
