I've recently developed a crush on bamboo blends. Silky and drapey, with that beautiful luster. And oh so soft. I could wrap up in a merino/bamboo shawl and sleep the day away.

I'm testing this fingering-weight yarn as a possible new addition to my lineup. It's 70% merino, 20% bamboo, and 10% nylon for durability, hand-dyed in a lovely apple green with subtle variations throughout the skein. This 4 oz skein measures approximately 466 yards, and knits up on U.S. 0-2 needles.
