Required Materials
Yarn: Yardages listed are generous estimates. It's always better to err on the side of too much yarn rather than to little. When in doubt, buy the extra skein for insurance. In worsted to aran weight yarn you will need approximately 95 (110, 130, 155, 180) yards. If you choose a contrasting color for the band it should be about 10% of your total yardage.
Needles: Needles appropriate for your preferred method of small circumference knitting in US sizes 8&6 (or size required to obtain gauge and two sizes smaller).
Notions: 5 stitch markers, a darning needle, and an optional ribbon, cord or decorative elastic.
