This cute little bag is made from high quality 200 weight fleece from the company that was formerly Malden Mills. The main color is brown, and the handles are made from a pink fleece.  It features an applique of a cupcake on the front.  The inside is lined with a cupcake-themed cotton flannel.  I used a layer of interfacing also to give the bag some shape - it will stand up on its own.  The bag measures 7.5 inches tall and has a base that is 6.5 inches by 3.5 inches - perfect for toddler and preschooler hands to carry precious treasures.  This bag may be machine washed and dried.

Although these bags would make a great gift on their own, they would be even better as a gift bag with something in them too - one of Indigo Onion's velour animals or a crayon bag from Kukae & Mimi or a smock from Sweet Marmalade or one of the many other wonderful things you will find here at Universal Mama or one of the other great stores on Hyenacart.  Use your imagination and have fun!

We use high quality fabrics and carefully construct each item to ensure that they will wear well wash after wash. Each applique is carefully drawn and designed. Then each piece must be cut by hand and sewn onto the clothing item. Often the appliques feature embellishments that must be sewn on by hand.  This process takes time and results in a unique item each time.  All of our fleece items may be machine washed and dried.
