SIZE
Size 3-6(6-12m, 12-18m,18-24m, 2/3, 4/5) these
sizes are general guidelines and it is
advised to measure your child to
achieve the best fit.
Measurements:
Chest: 17.5” (19”, 21”,22” 23.5”, 25”)
Length: 9.75” (11”, 12”,13”14.5”, 16”)
from top of
shoulder to hem.
Arm inseam: 6.5(7.5”, 8.5”,9.5”, 10.5”, 11.5”) from
under the arm, to hem of sleeve.
Gauge
5 stitches, and 7 rows = 1 inch (Row gauge is not mandatory
for this pattern, as you will be taking measurements as you go.
Needles and Notions
-Size 7 16” circular needle (or size needed to optain gauge
-1 size 7 12” circular, or needles needed for your favorite
small circumference knitting (or size needed to obtain proper gauge.)(NOTE: For
sizes 3-6, and 6-12 you many find it
easier to use DPN’s, or Magic loop)
-1 darning needle
-5 stitch markers
-Blocking pins
-Scrap yarn
-Stitch holders (optional, I use scrap yarn for this)
-Measuring tape
-Size H crochet hook. (Optional- for hoodless version only.)
Materials
Worsted/Aran weight yarn.
All yardage will vary depending on the weight of yarn that
you choose, but here are some guidelines for what you’ll need.
(My example is knit using a worsted weight yarn at 245 yards
per 4 oz skein)
0-6- 425 yards
6-12 525 yards
12-18 575 yards
18-24 600 yards
2/3 650 yards
4/5 725 yards

HOODED version with pocket.)
