Yarn bowl in dark floating blue.

These are approximately 6 1/2 inches across, and 3 inches high. They hold a good sized center pull ball of yarn. This bowl is glazed in a glaze combination I call "tidepool" a glossy clear peacock glaze layered over a rustic blue/green/grey matte texture.

They are simple to use! Just place a ball or skein of yarn in the bowl (place center pull cake sideways), and slip the yarn through the slot to the hole. The curved slot should keep the yarn in place. If you find the yarn slips out, just turn the bowl slightly so the yarn is pulling away from the slot.

These are great for knitting while watching TV or especially while knitting in a car, bus or airplane. No more chasing your yarn ball under your seat!

Due to the high heat of firing, sometimes the rim will be slightly warped where the slot is located. This in no way effects the functionality of the bowl.

My stoneware is all handcrafted, either thrown on a wheel or handbuilt. It is fired to 2200 degrees which makes it dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. It is durable and built to last. Please enjoy using your pottery every day!

Meet "Levi Rabbit" dyed by DD and handspun by me. Levi Rabbit is a worsted weight 2 ply superfine merino yarn. There is 3.9 oz/145 yards/12wpi to work with. Trim is a worsted weight 2 ply superfine merino 2.0oz/89yards/12wpi for a total of 5.9oz/234yards/12wpi.  It's been washed with Naturally Luxe wool wash and is ready for use. Please remember that colors may appear different monitor to monitor. Hand wash in cool water, lay flat to dry.
