Hi! My name is Sherri and I live on the beautiful Space Coast of Florida. Always beside me are my fantastic husband Stephen and my own Leo Baby, Colleen.

I grew up as an ARMY Brat all over the place, and my husband mostly lived in the amazing Appalachian mountains of North Carolina. He and I crossed paths while attending high school in Fredericksburg, Virginia and then met again while both attending Appalachian State University (GO Mountaineers!!) in Boone NC. Once we met that second time, we didn't let each other go! We were married on May 13, 2001 - the same day I graduated with my BS in Biology. I spent several years working as an animal keeper at Grandfather Mountain, but when Stephen completed his graduate work in Astrophysics, we had to move on to a place where he could find work.

After several moves, we are now settled here in Florida, close to the beach and a few relatives too! Shortly after moving here in 2004 we were able to bring Colleen into the world and the smiles have been plastered on our faces ever since. She truly brings us joy every single day.

In my quest to use cloth diapers on Colleen, I created the Mighty Nighty insert when nothing else would keep her dry at night. I sold them for a little while on the message boards, and created my Hyenacart in June of 2006. Now that Colleen is out of diapers and a very girly girl - I have taught myself to sew, crochet, and knit so that I can make her anything her heart desires. Of course I can do the same for you!
