I am proud to introduce my Freckle Bottoms Pattern.  This pattern features instructions for creating Shorties, Capris, Board Shorts, and Longies alike.  Ample short rows and a wide crotch gusset are the 2 things my customers have complimented in my knitting in the past, so I consider them a signature in my pattern.  Additionally, the pattern is written with knitting both legs at once, using Magic Loop or 2-circular knitting, with detailed instructions available for both methods.

 

At least 14 cuff options will be provided in the pattern.

 

The pattern will have instructions for explicit/sized knitting, as well as the option for fully customized bottoms of any size and gauge.

Materials required (for sized version at 5spi/7rpi):

Size 5 16" circular needle  (or needle size 2 sizes smaller than that needed to obtain gauge)

Size 7 16" circular needle  (or needle size needed to obtain gauge)

Size Size 7 24" or 47" size 7 circular needle (depending on your use of 2 circulars or Magic Loop for the legs... I prefer Magic-Loop)

2 Size 7 DPNs

Darning Needle

Aran/Worsted Weight Yarn - 100-250 gms

Optional - Crochet Hook (for some cuffs)
