*Note* The set is reduced in price due to an imperfect matchup on the utensil holder. It's not something most people would notice, but it is not the quality of work we like to put out. For this reason we have reduced the price.
Next time you have the urge to whip up a treat you can do so in style. The utensil holder is made of three contrasting woods: red oak and white oak with a spanish cedar bottom. The three utensils are made from red cherry wood and white maple. To finish the set we’ve used veggie-based organic oils. The utensil holder measures 5x4x6.5 inches. The utensils range from 10-12 inches long. We recommend a coat of olive oil when they arrive at your house to insure that the wood has soaked up as much oil as possible before use.
Care and Cleaning:
To clean your utensils simply wipe with warm water and dishsoap immediately after use. Do not submerge, soak or immerse in water, nor place in the dishwasher. When needed, apply olive oil or block oil to the clean cutting board to keep the wood looking good and water tight. The more oil applied and cooked with, the more primed the wood will be for cooking. Germophobe? We recommend grape seed extract (GSE) be rubbed into the wood, sit for a few minutes and then be wiped clean.
