For instock items: All items will be shipped within 2 business days of payment. All measurements given in a listing are taken while the item is at rest and are as accurate as I can possibly get them.

For custom/YYMN/semi-custom items: The $10 payment is a non-refundable deposit that will be applied toward your total cost. I will contact you within 2 business days to get measurements and other details from you. Please respond promptly so that I can begin work on your order as soon as possible. The balance of your order total is expected when I start work on your item.

Payment: I accept Paypal only. No personal checks or money orders. I accept e-checks but will not ship until the e-check clears.

Shipping: I require (and split the cost of) insurance on all domestic (US) orders over $30. This is not optional. International orders will be shipped by the buyer's preferred method (at the buyer's expense) but I will not mark "gift" on customs forms, as this is considered to be mail fraud.

Pooling: Like many people, I am not fond of pooling, flashing, color stacking, or patterning with colorway yarns. I will make every reasonable effort to keep yarn from pooling or patterning, but occasionally it is unavoidable. I do not give refunds for pooling. If you love pooling and want me to "let the yarn do its thing" that's fine too--just let me know before I start.

Bleeding Dye: With dyed yarn, whether hand-dyed or commercially-dyed, there is a risk of colors bleeding onto each other or onto diapers/clothing. I am not a dyer, and am not responsible for damage done by bleeding dye when I wash and block your items or for bleeding that occurs after you receive your item. I am extremely careful to watch for signs of bleeding while working with or washing yarn, but I can not guarantee that bleeding will not occur. I do not give refunds or take returns because of bleeding. Please wash your items carefully, with close supervision, and with unscented wool wash. If you are ordering a custom/YYMN item and would prefer to wash it yourself instead of having me wash it, please let me know before I finish knitting for you.

Returns/refunds/exchanges: Deposits for custom/YYMN/semi-custom items are nonrefundable. I accept returns only in cases of gross misrepresentation on my part or serious flaws in workmanship; please be sure to measure your child accurately! I will provide accurate measurements of in-stock items and make custom items to the requested measurements, and will provide clear and accurate pictures of all items. Please check your item immediately upon receipt so that we can be sure it is satisfactory. No refunds or returns will be considered more than 7 business days after receipt of the item. All returned items must be in their original condition to be considered for a full refund or exchange.
