I used circs most of the time and not sure if it's still considered magic loop I use a 40" for all projects

I use dpn, but I'm hoping to get a long pair of circs later this month to give magic looping a try.

I love my 12" circs. I am much faster with them than with DPNs or magic looping. I think it is interesting to see the many different ways to arrive at the same destination.

I do not have a problem using 12" circs so they are just faster for me.

ETA: I actually knit the entire project on 12" circs (longies, soakers, sweaters, etc...)

wow, are you serious? seriously, they make my left wrist and thumb ache ;( I wish I could, I do fine with 16" for the body...

I don't like having to move yarn down the needle to the tip when I knit so I always use the shortest needle I can get away with. lol I guess I've been lucky that the 12" don't bother me physically.

I LOVE my 12" circs and I just found the 9" ones at my LYS and I picked up some of those to do the legs of newborn and small woolies because I just can't seem to get the hang of dpns Smile

I almost always use DPNs for small diameter knitting over circs whether they're 12" or long enough for magic looping.

Circs are just so VERSITILE!! And I do alot of knitting on the subway, circs are great because they aren't too long and I won't bump into my neighbor!

I voted circs - I love my Addi 12" circs.

But for socks I used dpns.

I don't really care for ML'ing. It's ok but not my fav.
