I've always just knit my covers, but did pick up a lovely cashmere sweater at the thrift store today to try a diaper cover.
However... all of the tutorials I can find seem to be from people doing this the first time sorry, but the words, "can't wait to try this on the baby and see how it works" do not inspire confidence in your tutorial!
I could fake it easy enough, I'm a decent seamstress and I've made enough soakers to know the shape, I'm just thinking there is no need to reinvent the wheel if there is a good pattern or tutorial out there already.
So... anyone know a clear sweater-to-soaker tutorial?

Katrina's soaker is a great pattern for fleece soakers. I'd imagine it would work the same for wool as well. _________________ Katie ~ wife to JD. mama to 3 amazing kiddos!
Will knit for trades! I'm looking for Cestari or MMR yarn specifically, but try me |

I do this all the time, especially with cashmere, and I use Katrina's pattern for a soaker, then attach skinny legs (usually the arms). This makes the cutest leggings!! Just remember to felt the sweater first =] _________________ Bridget
