Ravelympics simply put is knitting done during the time frame of the Olympics. Cast on during the opening ceremonies and see how much you can knit before the closing ceremonies. You can log it through Ravelry with tags - all of the information is here: http://www.ravelry.com/discuss/ravelympics-2012/2092752/1-25

I would volunteer to captain it except I don't expect to have much access to the internet during the Olympics. I leave for vacation about 6 hours before the opening ceremonies and come home the day before the closing ceremonies.
