I like the second one a lot! Personally, the first one is too girly for me to put on my boys, and I don't mind purple or cranberry shades on boys. _________________ Lindsey ~ Mumma to J 11/07, C 5/10 & O 10/12

Personally, I'd probably go with the second, too. _________________ Jessy, Happily Married SAHM to Kaylee (Oct 06,) Alyssa (June 08) and Bubby (Dec 09,) and Tommy (Sept 11)

I'm knitting with the first, on a different base, right now, for a boy and it's fine. The pink doesn't stand out at all and it's knitting up beautifully imo. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow if it's any help (dark here now) _________________ Shadow

I don't think the pink stands out in the first, but I prefer the second also. It has more richness to the colors, IMO. _________________ ~ Amy Sue~

So, out of 4 "votes", the darker Explosion gets 3...and I was really gravitating toward the Double Rainbow. One of my problems is that sometimes, if it is iffy, I tend toward more feminine colors, I think....LOL!
Shadow, these go live tomorrow morning (10:00 a.m. my time) and I doubt they will last long. I appreciate the offer of a pic of the Double Rainbow worked up, but not sure I'd see it in time. _________________ ~Mary, Mom to N, grandma to R (10/08), E (4/11)

I just tried, but can't get the colours right. If it's any help 10am your time is 3pm my time, I'd get pics up before you're most likely awake if I remember! _________________ Shadow

I guess you saw the other rainbow too? Rainbow Prism.
I'd vote for double rainbow, I really don't like the other personally. _________________ Shadow

Personally, I don't think the first one is very boyish. Of the DBK colorways posted for stock, I think the rainbow prism is more boyish.
For rainbow colorways for boys, I prefer Pharoah and Double Chocolate Lollipop by Mosaic Moon. _________________ Sweetie to awesome DH and wrangler of the dynamic duo , , and the dynamic duo 2.0 (twin sisters)

I LOVE the first one, and I would put it on my boys, but the second one is more traditionally "boyish". _________________ Jennifer--wife to Bobby (5/09), mom to Lorynne (6/05), Nolyn (7/09), & Loghyn (1/12), 2 cats, & 1 dog
