So I recently started getting sick (a head cold I think, maybe allergies) and in the middle of the night last night I woke to my eye running, no biggie, I thought maybe I was having a bad dream & I was crying a little. Accually didn't think much of it, then today I blow my nose, not real hard but had to blow it & when I did, my eye filled with clear fluid! I felt it and I felt like I was under water with that eye. So I told DH about it & he said, "Oh thats cool. Now I can tell everyone you squirt from your eye like the guy who squirts milk from his eye. Try to do it again". I told him no way, I don't want to be known for that. So tonight my nose is real plugged & running (right side) I have to blow my nose, so I figure I would stand in the bathroom & watch in the mirror incase it happens again, sure enough my eye filled with clear fuild & some mucus
I have never had that happen before & I'm scared to blow my nose now. I really didn't even know that it could happen. At any rate I'm calling the DR tomorrow to see if maybe I have a pluged sinus or infection or something. It doesn't hurt though... I'm a freak, now DH can tell everyone his wife can sqirt from her eye _________________ Melissa~ Wife to King Arthur, Queen of my Home, Knitter, Homeschooler, SAHM, Somewhat WAHM (if you count ebay) and mom to 7 great kiddos!!!

It is a little funny, but I'll put your mind at ease and let you know I wouldn't worry about it. I've never had a lot come out of my eye like your describing though.
I'm assuming it's actually coming from the tear duct. It's actually connected to your nasal passages. That's why crying gives you a runny nose. It can also go in the opposite direction under the right circumstances. It's part of what makes eyes gooky when your sick. I'd go ahead and call the doctor. I doubt he'll be worried about it, but if you have a sinus infection or something that's making any back-up worse, you'll probably want to take care of it.
Hope you feel better soon. _________________ Kristina, wife to Ben, homeschooling, SAHM to 5 beautiful kids.
