Lost a friend a week ago

I logged on to FB on the morning of the 28th and was scrolling through the posts and saw one from my friend Greg. He never posts so I stopped to read it:
was on the road ,listening 2 my ipod on shuffle mode..i pulled into the driveway where snuggle was & the song IN MY TIME OF DYING by led zeppelin came on..i didnt realize it was a sign until i got inside & snuggle was waiting 4 me..i said my piece.. & then she went 2 sleep..we're having a celebration of her life on feb 1 2011..man.. the end of a heavy day...

the cancer came back. She told no one other than those she actually saw on a regular basis. This was her third bout with it. It was ovarian.
I met her in 1987 at a Duran Duran concert in NYC and we've been friends ever since. She was 41.
I went down to NY to her funeral and the luncheon the next day and I am so glad I did but I am still having a really hard time with it.
